During transition meetings, we request that parents bring along all current and updated specialist reports that have not been submitted upon application. An invitation is also extended to any external supports or case managers involved with the child.
Students who have accepted a position will be offered three visits to the school during Term 4. During visits, students will participate in structured learning activities in the classroom, engage in social interaction during recess and lunch breaks and the secondary students spend their transition lessons with the current cohort.
Students who enrol during the year will have an individualised transition program that will be designed in consultation with the coordinator, current setting, parents and specialist recommendation.
